The Tourist Boards of Saint-François Longchamp and Valmorel and the Valleys of Aigueblanche join forces to offer you a wonderful day of celebration in the alpine meadows around the traditions of yesteryear on the Col de La Madeleine.
Program 2023 :
10 am - 5 pm :
* Free access
- Local producers' and craftsmen's market
- Demonstration of old-fashioned Beaufort cheese-making with the Coopérative Laitière de la Chambre
- Old-fashioned games and entertainment: mock cow milking, log sawing, Lauzes painting
- Traditional music with Cor des Alpes
- Guided hikes to Lac des tritons at 10:30 am and 2 pm (Free - Reservations required at the Valmorel et les Vallées d'Aigueblanche Tourist Office and on site depending on available space - 0479225160)
Transportation:
You can reach the pass by car, bike or on foot.
We also offer shuttle services.
9am-6pm: Shuttles from Saint François Longchamp 1650 by reservation only (€1 per trip).
1 shuttle between La Léchère-les-Bains and the Col (free of charge).
